IT’S TIME TO GIVE BACK

We have been hosting tournaments in Kamloops since 2013, but in the Fall of 2018 a core group of beach volleyball players decided to organize and register a nonprofit society.  The Kamloops Beach Volleyball Club was born and we offer tournaments, leagues, and clinics at Overlander Park on the sunny North Shore of Kamloops.  We all play, we all love the sport, and we hope you join us!

wELCOME TO CANADA’S TOURNAMENT CAPITAL!

Kamloops is well known for its incredible sports facilities.  With the support of the Tournament Capital program the infrastructure at Overlander Park has improved a lot in the last 6 years.  The City doubled the number of courts to 8 and have provided access to power, storage, water, and a washroom.  We also installed new net slider attachment systems thanks to a grant from the Kamloops Sport Legacy Fund and Volleyball BC.  We now have a beautiful purpose built beach volleyball facility located right on the water at the confluence of the North and South Thompson Rivers.  We look forward to hosting more events and welcoming players to Canada’s Tournament Capital!
